For our special activity, the students collected the materials necessary to comprehend how the Wampanoag tribe built their wigwam houses, and later helped the Pilgrims and other travellers to build their own houses from tree trunks. 

We looked at images and read what the adults and children from the first Thanksgiving were saying and thinking... 

We finished our unit last week by sharing our favorite parts of the unit through our cover work in a Show and Tell. Very good work!!!
